Synopsis

Beatriz (Salma Hayek), an immigrant from a poor town in Mexico, has drawn on her innate kindness to build a career as a health practitioner in Southern California. • 5 stars "Outstanding movie. Excellent acting. Left me thinking long after it ended. An ugly statement on human behaviour, human consumerism and the callous disregard for others and our planet."
  • 5 stars "Loved it!!! Intelligent dialogue. Great performances, especially by Salma Hayek, and the subject happens to be actual and pertinent."
  • 1 star "Good actors but one dimensional. Depressing story."
